Learn, How Learn best
A modern way of learning for a changing world.
At the Digital Business University of Applied Sciences you learn differently than at traditional schools.
Per semester, you complete 5 modules. You deep-dive into two topics at a time. Each module blends self-paced online study with classroom learning on campus, and closes with a single exam.
The setup of a module follows a clear structure: The first two weeks are the self-learning phase. You acquaint yourself with the topic at your own pace through a rich library of digital content.
The next four weeks are the classroom phase. In a fixed cohort, you engage with experienced lecturers, experts and peers in group work, applying frameworks, methods and industry-standard tools.
The last two weeks are dedicated to completing the module and preparing your assessment or exam.
Learn with focus
The world of work won’t slow down. That’s why your studies should help you build skills that last.
At DBU, every module follows a clear learning journey. You begin by building knowledge independently through high-quality digital learning materials. Then you apply what you’ve learned together with your lecturers and fellows students before completing the module with a single assessment.
It’s a structured way of learning that gives you clarity, keeps you focused and lets you make steady progress.
Learn independently, but never alone.
Your digital learning platform is just your entryway to new insights. If gives you access to everything you need, from video lectures and podcasts to academic literature and interactive learning materials.
Combined with in-person classes at the DBU campus and cultural activities, you will exchange ideas with lecturers and classmates, get to work on projects, have discussion forums, deepen your understanding and apply your knowledge, and broaden your horizon through exchanges with German companies.
One module. One Focus.
At DBU you complete five modules per semester, but never all at once.
Instead of juggling multiple subjects and exams, you concentrate on one module at a time. Every module follows the same structured rhythm: build your foundation through self-paced learning, deepen your understanding in class, then complete your assessment before moving on.
