You study two modules in parallel, not five. That means two subjects, one timetable and one assessment per module instead of an exam period where everything lands at once.

Because every module runs on the same eight-week cycle and starts on the first of a month, your calendar stays predictable. You know when you are on campus, when you study independently and when your assessments are due.

Every module follows the same rhythm, so you can plan your semester from day one.

Weeks 1 and 2 introduce the subject. You attend your first lectures and discussion sessions on campus and start working through the digital learning materials on our platform.

Weeks 3 to 6 are the core of the module. You deepen the content in lectures and dialogue sessions, apply it in a two-day campus workshop and continue your guided self-study.

Weeks 7 and 8 bring the module to a close. You keep working on the content, prepare for your assessment with your lecturer and complete it. Written and oral exams take place in the last five days of the module, term papers are submitted on the final day.

Campus Lecture. Your lecturer introduces and develops the core content of a module. Around two hours per week per module, on campus, with supporting material on the learning platform.

Campus Dialogue. A smaller discussion format where you work through the content together with your lecturer and your cohort. Around one hour per week per module, on campus.

Campus Workshop. A two-day block per module. You apply what you have learned to real problems and bridge theory and practice under the guidance of your lecturer.

Guided Self-Study. Video lectures, academic literature and interactive materials on our learning platform, so you can prepare and review at your own pace between sessions.

Module Assessment. One assessment per module at the end of the eight weeks. No exam period stacked with five subjects at once.

Studying abroad is more than lectures and exams. Campus & Culture is a four-hour weekly program that runs alongside your modules and supports you academically, linguistically and socially.

You practice German for everyday and academic situations, and you take part in a program that covers arriving in Germany and finding your place, succeeding in a German academic environment, handling everyday matters such as housing, health and administration, and exchanging perspectives with fellow students from around the world.
