WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Your Bachelor’s program in Digital Business Management — 28 modules and a bachelor’s thesis on your way to graduation.

A solid understanding of how economies work is the foundation of every business decision. You’ll get a grounded introduction to economics — and the academic methods you need to research, structure and present ideas clearly.

This module introduces the world of the digital economy. It builds awareness of the technologies, business models and patterns that shape today’s markets — and how they continue to change.

Build the foundation for working with data: probability, descriptive and inductive statistics, and the maths you’ll use to interpret business numbers and back up decisions.

The digital economy is global. To shape it, you need to communicate confidently across borders. This module sharpens your business English — presentations, negotiations, written communication.

This module covers core concepts of business management — what makes companies successful, how decisions get made, and how to think strategically about the role of management.

Organisations need to be efficiently structured and flexibly led. Explore how modern organisations are designed, how culture shapes performance, and how to drive change in complex teams.

Lay the groundwork for financial decision-making: how companies plan, raise and allocate capital, evaluate investments, and read financial statements with a critical eye.

This module shows how data is collected, structured, analysed and visualised — and how to translate insights into business decisions you can defend in the room.

Accounting is the foundation of financial steering. This module gives you a solid grasp of bookkeeping, financial statements, and how to read the story numbers tell.

Self-management is a core competence in modern work. Build strategies for resilience, focus, time management, and working effectively in a digital, fast-moving environment.

Leadership is shifting — from control to trust, from hierarchy to collaboration. This module gives you the tools to lead people in a digital, networked economy.

Fundamentals of marketing in a digital context. Learn how digital channels, customer journeys, and data analytics come together to shape modern marketing decisions.

Digital business models work differently — they scale faster, depend on data and network effects, and reshape entire industries. Learn how to design, evaluate and build them.

Build awareness of the ethical questions raised by digitalisation, and the legal foundations of data, contracts and intellectual property in a digital business.

This module covers the core instruments of strategic management in a digital business context — competitive analysis, positioning, and the decisions that shape a company’s future.

Behind every successful digital organisation are well-designed, automated processes. Learn how to model, optimise and digitise the workflows that drive companies.

In this module you’ll work on modern forms of work and AI applications: how teams collaborate, how AI changes day-to-day tasks, and how to use it responsibly.

Dive into one of our specialisation tracks. You’ll choose your specialisation modules from our growing catalogue of focused, future-facing topics.

This module introduces academic research and the foundations of empirical work — qualitative and quantitative methods, study design, and how to interpret findings rigorously.

Continue with a second specialisation module — go deeper in your chosen area or broaden your profile in a related one.

Project work has become the standard form of modern work — including in the digital business. Learn classical and agile project management (Scrum, Kanban) and how to make teams perform.

Choose an elective that broadens your perspective. Each year we offer a rotating selection of topics — pick what complements your specialisation.

Controlling makes economic relationships visible — and decisions measurable. Build the methods, instruments and mindset of modern controlling.

Round out your specialisation profile with a third module — combine technical depth with the focus most relevant to your career path.

Industry 4.0 stands for the networking of machines, data and people. Learn how digital value chains work — and how to design, optimise and lead them.

Take your fourth specialisation module to round out your profile — go deep on the area that defines your career direction.

Choose another elective to broaden your perspective and complement the focus of your final semester.

This module supports you in writing your bachelor’s thesis — academic writing, structure, methodology, and a colloquium where you discuss your work with peers and advisors.

You’ve (almost) made it. Now it’s time to write a substantial piece of research or applied work that brings together everything you’ve learned — and earns you your degree.
